What is a rest day?
A rest day lets you skip a date intentionally without losing your streak — provided you have a rest slot or a Streak Freeze. Marked rest days appear as 🌙 on your strip and other participants' rosters; the reason you picked stays private to you.How do my mode and rest slots work?
Your commitment mode decides how many rest slots you get each week (Mon–Sun):- Every day: 0 weekly rest slots. Rest is only safe with a Streak Freeze.
- 5-6 days/week: 1 rest slot per week.
- 3-4 days/week: 3 rest slots per week.
What is a Streak Freeze?
A Streak Freeze is a "skip pass" that protects your streak in Every-day mode. You earn one every time you reach a 30-day clean streak. Using a freeze on a rest day keeps your streak alive and consumes one freeze from inventory.Why can't I mark rest in Every-day mode?
Every-day mode has no built-in rest slots — that's the contract. You can still mark a rest day, but it won't bridge your streak unless you spend a Streak Freeze. Switch to 5-6 or 3-4 days/week in Settings if you want regular rest days built into your commitment.I missed a day. What happens to my streak?
Your streak resets to zero. We don't send guilt notifications — show up tomorrow and start a new one. Most of our longest streaks come after a reset.My snap got rejected by my partner. Can I appeal?
Right now your partner's vote is final for that day. If you think a partner is voting in bad faith, send us their handle and the day in question — we review every report.Can I leave a challenge early?
Yes, from the challenge page → Settings → Leave challenge. Your partner will be notified and re-matched. Your streak in that challenge ends but your overall account is fine.How do I delete my account?
Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. It’s permanent and removes every snap, streak, and message. Go to Settings →I'm not getting partner notifications. What do I check?
On iOS / Android, allow notifications when prompted. On the web, click the bell in the header and grant permission. If you're still missing them, send us the device and OS — that's usually enough to fix it.
